The journey began in 2018, when the first Tikka Indian Cuisine opened in Venice with a simple dream—to share the true essence of India through food that feels both authentic and alive. What started as a small restaurant soon captured hearts across Florida, earning recognition as one of the state’s top-rated Indian restaurants on Yelp. That milestone became the spark for something greater—a vision to expand the experience of Indian dining while keeping its soul untouched.

As the story flowed forward, Spice Indian Cuisine was born on Clark Road in Sarasota, followed by another Tikka Indian Cuisine on Fruitville Road. Each new space carried the same foundation of passion, hospitality, and craftsmanship—but with a modern evolution. The menus began blending tradition with creativity, where timeless recipes met global inspiration, giving rise to what we proudly call Modern Indian Cuisine.

Our journey eventually led us to extraordinary chefs—Michelin-trained masters from Uttarakhand and Rajasthan, regions where the culture and flavors of India flow as deeply as the sacred Ganges River itself. Their artistry brings a refined edge to every dish, while staying rooted in the traditions from the lands along the Ganges—where history, flavor, and spirituality intertwine.
